Stay at Blue Baobab
A one-bedroom apartment in Saly where the light is long, the pool is quiet, and you are welcomed the Senegalese way.
Découvrir Saly THE PLACE
Saly moves at the speed of the tide
Ninety minutes south of Dakar, the Petite Côte unrolls into a long ribbon of warm sand, fishing pirogues and mango trees.
Mornings here are for the beach before the heat arrives. Afternoons belong to the pool and the shade of the residence garden. Evenings are grilled thiof at a terrace two streets away, then a sunset that turns the whole ocean copper.
Saly is a resort town that never stopped being a Senegalese one. The market still runs on bargaining and laughter. That is the version we want you to meet.
La Téranga Our Welcome
Not a room. A welcome.
Téranga is the Senegalese word for hospitality — but it means something closer to you are already family here.
It shapes everything about this apartment. You arrive to cold water, coffee already in the cupboard and someone who will tell you which fish is good this week and which taxi driver to call.
The apartment itself bridges two worlds: the ease of modern living — air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, a proper desk — held inside the earthy warmth of Senegalese craft. Woven textures, local wood, a four-poster bed under a mosquito net.
